    Hamilton’s Education & Care are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected community based, not for profit long day care Centre with a philosophy that centers on its community and a belief that building meaningful relationships is key to quality practice.  

    This 56 place early years program based in Sydney’s Inner West has an opening for a passionate qualified educator who is seeking to be part of a proactive team dedicated in providing highest quality of care and education to children. With an established collaborative team in place, this opportunity is open to experienced or new graduate Diploma educators.  

    About the role 

    This role is a Permanent Fulltime position working 38 hours per week and requires you share the responsibilities for documenting, planning, and critical reflections.  You will be working across a variety of shift times, working closely with your team. Supported by an experienced pedagogical leader with over 30yrs of Early Childhood sector experience, you will share responsible for the children in your group, contribution towards the services long term goals that centers on providing the best possible care for children.  

    To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following selection criteria: 

    • Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA approved qualifications 
    • Hold a current paid NSW Working with Children Check through the Office of the Children’s Guardian  
    • Understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard, and requirements of the current Child Protection Acts & the Education & Care Services National Law & Regulation 
    • You will value, build, and maintain strong relationships with team members, parents, children and the wider community 
    • Critical thinking and reflective practice needs to form part of your day to day practice 
    • A professional, warm, friendly and positive attitude 
    • Above all, you have a true passion for supporting; nurturing and caring for children and seeing them reach their potential.
