    Hamilton’s Education & Care are recruiting on behalf of a leading not for profit organisation with an impressive history in providing early years education and care to children and families across Sydney. They embrace a philosophy that centers on the community and a belief that building meaningful relationships is key to quality practice.

    The Role 

    We are seeking a leader who understands that relationships are the basis of quality, and who can lead a small team in the provision of early learning education and care. A good understanding of how to engage with children who may be from vulnerable backgrounds would be a plus in addition to being enthusiastic about creating environments for children where friendships flourish and children are given the best chance for lifelong learning. This role is a Permanent Fulltime position working 38 hours per week and requires you to oversee the operations of the program licensed for 17 children per day.

     

    This position is a Maternity leave role commencing April 2024

    To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following selection criteria:

    • Minimum qualification - Diploma in Children's Services
    • Minimum 3 years working in a leadership role within Children’s Services
    • A desire to make a difference in children’s lives by providing a quality program.
    • Understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard, and requirements of the current Child Protection Acts & the Education & Care Services National Law & Regulations
    • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
    • Ability to lead a small team
    • Great communication skills and a motivated team member
